AI Risk and Rules for Small Companies

This course is for owners, controllers, office managers and ops leads at companies of 20 to 200 people whose staff are already using chat assistants, whether or not anyone approved it. You don’t need a legal or IT background. This course is about money you don’t lose: a leaked customer list, a wire sent to the wrong account, a vendor contract you can’t get out of.

You’ll learn which kinds of company data should never go into an AI tool and why, how deepfake voices, AI-written phishing and fake payment-change requests work, and why an assistant that reads email can be steered by the email itself. You’ll get a plain-language tour of the AI rules that exist as of mid-2026, then write a one-page AI use policy and a short list of questions to put to any AI vendor before you sign.

Five lessons, about an hour and a half including the exercises. You finish with a data-class list, a payment-verification rule, a one-page policy your staff can actually read, and a vendor checklist.

Free for individuals, or $1,200 per company per year for a team license that covers up to 25 staff, with progress tracking and completion certificates.
